Love a quiet, low-lit coffee shop! You can truly tell that they pour their passion into their products & menu, everything is delicious. I also love that they support other local vendors within their shop. Local, family owned, AND they are amazing people? Nothing better. Exactly what Beaufort needed

Coffee is always delicious and there are lots of fun flavors to choose from! I Love that they use locally roasted coffee and local bakeries for their pastry options. There is also a good selection of drinks to choose from if you aren't someone who likes coffee. Their iced matcha and salted caramel cold brew are my favorites! The decor makes the shop feel so cozy and is the perfect place to sit and spend time with friends. Historic Grounds is a true family owned business and you can tell that they love their shop and serving their community.

My favorite coffee shop in Beaufort. I like ordering from their seasonal drink menu. They're also known for their flavored cold brews. Everything is fresh and provides a great space to work or chat with friends. The owner, Joe, is super friendly and fun to talk to. I'm definitely going to miss it when I move to Raleigh in August for work :(

Super cute spot with great coffee and matcha! I love getting the iced matcha with cold foam. Or if you’re in the mood for a latte.... the mochas, vietnamese, and pound cake latte’s are to die for. There is an array of flavors that you can choose from that can truly make your own unique drink. Not only is the coffee just amazing, but so is the cozy home feeling to it. This is definitely a one of a kind experience if you're visiting in Beaufort NC, or if you’re from the area. Customer service is something I always take into consideration and the people here are just so lovely. Amazing owners who make everyone feel at home in the historic grounds, happened upon it three years ago and never left.

We had a great time at historic grounds! The people behind the counter are always so friendly and welcoming, no matter who’s working. The pastry’s are always so fresh and delicious and we love that they work with a variety of local bakers to have an ever changing spread of the best goodies! And the COFFEE! It’s always roasted to perfection and any concoction the baristas create has always been AMAZING! Their seasonal menus are full of fun drinks for any weather or occasion. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HISTORIC GROUNDS COFFEE SHOP TO ANYONE IN BEAUFORT!

Historic Grounds never disappoints! Joe and Jamie, the owners are amazing people and can make you and drink you desire. I like to try something different every now and then, and Joe knows how to whip up just the right concoction. My favorites so far are Vietnamese coffee, cold foam with purple ube and the popcorn latte. You can’t go wrong with a cold brew or cortado either! Absolutely love this family-owned, local business.

One of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to alot. Joe was informative and kind. I got a white mocha cold brew with caramel cold foam. My friend got a Matcha lemonade. The drinks were delicious and high-quality. Will definitely revisit every time I’m in town.

This little coffee shop has the most friendly staff and owners, warm decor, great selection of coffee and tea for sale, yummy drinks, locally roasted coffee. You can’t go wrong walking into this coffee shop!
